The installed PWA gives you the best scanning, upload and notification experience. If your browser cannot offer the installer, you can continue in the browser without being locked out.
StackScout will ask Chrome for the real PWA installer. If Chrome cannot offer it yet, do not use a plain “Create shortcut” as proof of installation.
Facebook and Messenger's built-in browser can interfere with photo uploads, screen wake lock, and app installation.
Install StackScout like an app for faster access and a full-screen experience.
If the button is unavailable, open Chrome's menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
In Safari:
In Chrome or Edge, use the install icon in the address bar or browser menu to install StackScout as a desktop app.
Get alerts for follow requests, buy/trade offers, transaction messages, comments, likes, and completed deals.
You opened StackScout from the old app. Install the new dedicated StackScout PWA before continuing.
You can now remove the old StackScout icon. Browsers do not allow one PWA to uninstall another app automatically.
Update StackScout before continuing so this device is running the same version as the server.
Your account, scans, collection, credits, messages, and settings are not changed by this app update.
